This term for our novel study, Mrs A read us Whitebait Fritters which is a novel written by a Kiwi author Kingi McKinnon.
My favourite part in Whitebait Fritters was when Wiremu fell into the river.

To wind up our learning we decided to make some fake whitebait fritters because we can’t afford to buy real whitebait.
We used grated potato to take the place of whitebait and mixed it with eggs and onions.
They were really tasty. Then we had to write out the recipe, put it on a Google Drawing and add some images. You can see my work below.

Hi,
This week we did fun writing. I really liked finding the things. It was hard because I couldn't find a sound. I couldn't find a transparent background.

White Bait Fritters Reading Activity

Hello bloggers.

For the last few weeks we have been Reading a book written by Kingi McKinnon and the book is Whitebait Fritters. We have been creating animations, title pages. Creating animations was hard because it took so long to make them. I enjoyed making the slides. The learning behind it was learning about the Zones of Regulation.
