My dream car

My dream car!

My dream car has butterfly doors. It has a horse symbol at the
front, the back, on the steering wheel and on the side. The car
is red and black and it has a convertible roof. It is really fast and
it makes a good noise when the   engine goes vrmmm. Inside
the car it has a loud stereo and the steering wheel has good
grip. The seats are covered with black leather.

Science Fair

Yesterday we had our school science Fair.My science investigation was about bridges.

Balloon Hovercraft

We have been learning how to write scientific reports. We did an experiment and created a Balloon Hovercraft.

B E G I N N I N G	TITLE	Balloon Hovercraft
	QUESTION	How does a hovercraft hover?
	HYPOTHESIS	I predict that the cd is going to spin on the table like a lawnmower.

M I D D L E	EQUIPMENT  AND MATERIALS:	Cd, bottle lid, ballon.
	PROCEDURE:	Step 1: Using a hot glue gun glue the bottle cap over the CD hole. Step 2: Blow up a balloon. When it is fully inflated twist the end so no air comes out.   Step 3: Stretch the balloon over the end of the bottle cap.  Step 4: Open up the cap and place the CD on the surface.   Step 5: Untwist balloon and let go.
	OBSERVATIONS/RESULTS:	I saw the balloon get smaller and smaller as the air was coming out and the disc moves around.  It slows down and then stops.

CONCLUSION:

The air from the balloon creates a cushion of moving air between the disc and the CD and reduces the friction across the surface.

Hula hoop game

This week we have been learning how to play a game. It is a hula hoop game it was fun. We do paper, scissors, rock. We had to jump through the hoops and when we meet up we do paper, scissors and the loser goes back to his team and  another person comes from the other team.

The Bike

As part of our writing programme we have been doing environmental writing. We had to sketch an object and as we were sketching we wrote down thoughts that we had. Then we wrote our thoughts down  as a poem. We cut out the sketch and added this to our writing.

The hot air balloon

This week we have used a picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we
had to carry on the story. What I like about my writing is capital letters.

I need to improve on finishing my work and not talking to my friends . We also made a google draw
showing the things that we would take with us in on the balloon.

I  am so excited  to go in a hot air  balloon because. I have never been in one before. I will bring water ,coffee, some carrot , radio , walkie talky,a toothbrush and a sleeping bag . I got on the hot air  balloon and took off. I thought I was going to fall off I could feel the clouds in the sky. A bird went past a and a feather came off .It was blue and green. It was soft like a teddy bear.
